Burn those brisket calories and cool off with a swim at Barton Springs, “A natural outdoor swimming hole that’s 70 degrees year round,” Dr. Joe says. The Springs are located in the very lush Zilker Park, where the green outdoors against a backdrop of city life thrive together in perfect harmony.

Barbarella is a hopping downtown music venue with diverse crowds, lively tunes and multiple dance floors--”great for meeting new people,” the singer says, “as well as C-Boys Rock n’ Roll.” The latter is a bi-level downtown club that offers a cozy Japanese-American bar tucked away upstairs.
End the day on a high note
“Hit up gorgeous Clark’s Oyster Bar for dinner and drinks in WestAustin, before taking in a late night music show at the Skylark Lounge.” Located south of Mueller Lake Park, Skylark is a fun and funky beer and wine bar in a dive setting.
