“Miami is the city of the future, because it has everything,” Xperimento will have you know. But even in a city that’s packed to the hilt with diversity and exciting things to see and do, the band still has its favorites.
Where to start your day
“Start your day kayaking or paddle boarding around the Mangroves of Key Biscayne,” they insist. “It’s very peaceful.” Key Biscayne sits between two largeFlorida parks, Crandon Park and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, which harbor loads of birdlife and butterflies. In other words, it’s paradise.
Where to get breakfast or lunch
After the Mangroves, follow up with breakfast at Sergio’s, a 50+ year institution serving Cuban coffee and empanadas. Or, save up for lunch at Kush, located in the Wynwood neighborhood, which offers Latin-inspired burgers with guava, and fried Florida alligator bites.

A must-see spot that’s ultra Instagram-worthy is Wynwood Walls, where murals of localMiami artists and those from across the globe are everywhere. “There isn’t a single wall that isn’t covered in art,” the band says of the Edgewater outdoor museum.
