TikTok Video Shows "Wakanda Forever" Scenes Filmed In Puerto Rico
Did you know that several of the tropical scenes from Wakanda Forever were filmed on the island of Puerto Rico?

The highly-anticipated sequel is another jewel in Marvel’s crown, and it continues to make waves.USA Today reported that the film “has extended its box-office reign in its second week of release with $67 million in ticket sales over the weekend.”
Yahoo! Entertainment added,Wakanda Forever is on the verge of crossing $550 million worldwide after two weekends in theaters, adding $67.3 million domestically and $69.8 million internationally to bring its global total to $546.3 million.”
Tropic Life PR listed the Puerto Rican locations onTikTok, and we’ll share them without spoilers.
Playa Las Palmas
Tropic Life PR posted a picture of Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) on this beach.
Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) and Namor (Tenoch Huerta) meet there as well.
The beach is in Manatí, towards the north of the island.
According toSceenit, “Las Palmas Beach is located right next to the more popular Poza de las Mujeres. A long stretch of sand with open waters, this beach is an ideal photo spot, but swimming is not recommended as the waters are known for its rough tides.”
Hacienda Campo Rico
We learn more of Namor’s origins during the flashback at this historical residence. The actor who plays him as a child is Manuel Chavez.

Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña
Queen Ramonda goes to Haiti, where Nakia has taken up residence.
Together, they walk through the plant-filled halls of what is really the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, a respected educational center.
According toGoogle Arts and Culture, the center “was created in 1955 with the mission of researching, preserving, promoting and disseminating Puerto Rican culture in its diversity and complexity.”

Shuri has a scene at this oceanfront house, but we won’t mention what happens.
