I know you asked about this like a zillion years ago, but I finally revisited this game and released an update, and as part of that I made a mac build. I didn't test it because I don't have a working mac available, but if you'd like to give it a shot, feel free.

I don't use Linux and don't really want to spend the time officially supporting it, but if I have the time, I'll look into making a linux build and sending it to you to try if you want.
