McFarlane Toys Expands PlayStation Collectibles Line, Acquires QMx Brand

Figures inspired by Helldivers 2 and God of War arrive this year as the company prepares to relaunch Q-Figs collectibles.

McFarlane Toys is expanding its collectibles portfolio with new licensed action figures based onHelldivers 2 andGod of War, developed in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment. The company also acquired the QMx brand, marking the return of Q-Figs collectibles in 2026.

“Any time McFarlane Toys has a chance to bring beloved characters to life, we jump at it,” remarks Todd McFarlane, Founder and CEO McFarlane Toys.”Given that PlayStation is deeply rooted in gaming and entertainment makes the collaboration even more exciting.”

The upcoming 7-inch-scale Helldivers 2action figures feature ultra-articulation, detailed sculpts, and character-inspired accessories. The collection includes Super Earth soldier figures with B-01 Tactical, CE-35 Trench Engineer, SA-04 Combat Technician, and TR-40 Gold Eagle armor sets. The figures will be released as part of the McFarlane Elite Edition and McFarlane Gaming Edition lines. Helldivers 2 figures are scheduled for release in Spring 2026, followed by God of War figures in Summer 2026, with additionalPlayStation-inspired collections planned based on franchises including The Last of Us, Uncharted, Twisted Metal, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, and Bloodborne.

Separately,McFarlane Toys acquired the QMx brand, bringing the Q-Figs collectibles line into its portfolio. First introduced in 2013, Q-Figs are known for stylized designs and scene-based displays developed in collaboration with major entertainment studios. The relaunch will feature licensed properties including DC Comics, Marvel Comics, and Spawn.

The Q-Figs relaunch will include amystery box program featuring stylized figures and a window box program offering deluxe editions with enhanced sculpting and presentation. The collection is scheduled to launch in Summer 2026 and will be available online and at select retailers.
