Ang batayan ng mga likas na yaman ay kagubatan (karamihan ay conifer),phosphate bato,peat,furs, yamang tubig at lupa. Mayroong malawakang deposito ng peat at non-metallic mineral:limestone,marl,clay, buhangin atgravel, pati na rin ang napakabihirang mineralvolkonskoite . Sa nakalipas na mga dekada, sa silangan ng lugar ay nagsiwalat ng isang maliit na mababawi na reserbang langis at mga deposito ng bentonite clay. Sa lugar ay ang pinakamalaking sa Europa Vyatsko-Kama deposito ng pospeyt bato. Ang lugar ay mayaman sa mineral spring at therapeutic mud. Sa teritoryo ngDistrito ng Kumyonsky ay isang sikat na bayan ng resort na may kahalagahang pederalNizhneivkino, na sa paggamot at pagpapahinga ay dumarating sa mga residente ng rehiyon ng Kirov at maraming rehiyon ng Russia.
