A downloadable asset pack
Disclaimer: Since this pack is under CC4 - with the demo under CC0 - you can use it for any end, but I would kindly ask anyone downloading this pack to refrain from using any of those resources to either feed LLM/AI models or to pull some cryptoshenanigans. Thank you.

Is your RPG project in dire need of literal billions of colourful characters? Look no further, the Char Workshop is here to tend to your needs!
In the Workshop one will find all that is necessary to build a plethora of RPG characters, from head to toes:

*While most of the content can just be slapped over the characters, one must bear in mind that layer order changes accordingly to the direction that the character is facing. That is, back and some shoulder components might be placed on the top-most layer when the character back is facing the camera. Some light editing might be needed to make sure that everything is properly connected, such as clothing pieces going under the belt and haircuts going under the hats and helmets.

Are you in a rush and need some characters ready to go? No problem! The pack includes 40 colourful use ready characters, from fighters to mages and villagers.

*All characters include a 6 frames version and a 3 frames version, the later compatible with RPGMaker. There is also an outlined version and no outline version, for both animation legths.

This pack will see quite a few updates, from new body types and clothing items to final fantasy-esque little animations, such as crouching, laughing, waving and so on. Stay tuned for more!

Don't forget to rate this asset pack, it keeps morale high and makes sure that more packs will come sooner than later.

You might be asking about theHero Printer and yes, you can!
The Char Workshop is just a bundle of sprites - sprites now integrated to the Hero Printer, which is an actual tool for building characters - that the buyer must piece together themselves. The Printer also includes the sprites contained on theFace Workshop. Both the Workshops are considered obsolete if you wish for a character builder with access to both their assets combined, plus an easy to use tool. I just kept those workshops online for people who are still willing to get only the sprites for one or another.
The Hero Printer, right? There is a file named NEWASSETS.txt inside the ZIP, it describes the whole process with an example. It is nothing too hard, just requires replacing/adding a couple of files on the right folders and reloading the tool :)
EDIT: Let me know if you run into any difficulties after giving it a read and trying it out.
Hello great work, i love IT, one question please, when i buy battlers for battle, Can i with this pack recreate characters for overworld that looks same as battlers? Or it can be done inTiny RPG - Hero Printer? I mean in this pack are same characters graphic as in battlers? Because i want same graphic charactes with walking animations as are in battlers packs. Thanks for reply
Afternoon, mate! Yes, you can.
I made all the pieces in a way you can re-create the same characters you find on the kits and vice-versa - the kits don’t have characters that can’t be built using the workshops. The sample characters on both the workshops already includes the characters present on the Battle Kit I ready for use.
The Printer just makes your life easier in a way that building up a character is a few clicks away instead of having to place everything by hand. The Workshops, however, gives you more freedom since you can use as many pieces as you want, mix and match layers and so on.
Hope that answers your question, feel free to ask away and drop any suggestions. Thank you for dropping by! :)
Hi Tiopalada! Bit late to mention this but I actually used your assets in a project a couple months back when I wanted to experiment with a new game engine! It's not much, buthere it is if you'd like to try it out!
On a side note too, the player character (who is also from your assets) is a design I've found myself particularly enjoying a lot, actually! The little fox-looking character with the glasses and white robes. I named him Ash and I sort of interpret him as someone with innate magic powers, but casts them aside to be a disciplined martial artist instead. And occasionally I find myself doodling him in my own artstyle. I'm even trying to model him right now!
I thought you might like to see some of these. It's for all intents and purposes, fanart!

Heck, I've actually considered putting him in my main series as a minor character or hidden boss. If I did, I would absolutely give credit, of course.
Mate, I am so glad you are having a blast, loved Ash! I will add your game to the list of games using my assets. It is very encouraging to see people using my stuff and having a good time while doing so.
It is fullfilling to watch people just letting their imagination flow and get to some world/character building with the assets, that is precisely the goal.
Thank you so much for sharing your work and sketches, keep at it, I particularly enjoy how you can portray emotions even behind those glasses. If you ever have new stuff - or suggestions for packs/updates - feel free to drop me a line!
Rpg Maker uses charsets such as the one attached below

In this pack there are two versions of everything, a 6 frames version - which is more flexible, but not compatible with RMK unless you are using some custom scrupt - and a 3 frames version (3f), alloted exactly how RMK would expect a charset to be.
So just grab the 3f version of any body/skin, slap some 3f clothes, 3f hair, 3f whatever over it and you are ready to use it on RPGMaker.
Glad you liked it!
If you are looking for combat specific sprites - and combat only - take a look at the Battle Kit 1.https://tiopalada.itch.io/tiny-rpg-battle-kit-1
Sprites there are bigger with lots of combat oriented animations and shall see an update soon. However the Battle Kit covers just a few key characters instead of being a paper-doll system. Given time I will add more characters to the roster, but won’t be focused on allowing creating millions of combinations.
As for the char workshop I will certainly add some custom animations, maybe some basic attack for ARPGS, but I cannot say for sure.
