Anantnag Lok Sabha Election results 2024

Anantnag is one of the five Lok Sabha constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir. By securing 32.17% of the votes polled, Hasnain Masoodi of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference emerged victorious. He won against Ghulam Ahmad Mir of Indian National Congress who could manage to get 26.83% of the votes polled. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Mehbooba Mufti of JKPDP had won the seat. The 2019 Parliamentary elections witnessed a voter turnout of 9.7% in the constituency. According to the 2011 census, Anantnag has a literacy rate of 64.32% with male literacy 74.13% and female literacy 54.15%.
