TICA's Commitment to Cat Welfare: A Message of Care and Responsibility

At The International Cat Association (TICA), we believe that every cat deserves a loving and caring home. Our commitment to the feline community extends beyond breed standards and cat shows—we are deeply dedicated to supporting and promoting the welfare of cats in need. As part of our ongoing efforts to care for and protect cats, we have compiled a list of breed-specific rescues that tirelessly work to provide shelter, medical care, and loving homes to cats in distress.

These organizations are not just rescuers; they are lifelines for many cats who find themselves without a home, often through no fault of their own. Whether it’s due to changes in an owner’s circumstances or cats being abandoned, these rescues step in to offer the care and compassion every cat deserves. We recognize and appreciate the incredible work done by these rescues, and we are proud to support their missions.

We encourage you to explore the resources below, whether you want to adopt, foster, or support these invaluable organizations. Together, we can make a difference in their lives.
