A downloadable game for Windows
Welcome to Lodestone - a retro roguelike, in which you must search for treasures and then get the hell out of dodge! Or just explore the world and jam out to the atmospheric tunes.
The monsters are fierce! There are attack and health upgrades too, but time is what counts. Use your compass to find the treasure, then claim it and try to return home before the dungeon is filled with demons.
Art is made byIKnowKingRabbit.
I just did a major update named v2. There's now 4 classes in the game, each with 2 abilities. Classes and abilities need to be unlocked by completing quests that have you travel through the world of Lodestone. The world is also MASSIVE now with 16 more screens added.
Instructions in-game, but controls are WASD and number keys. Options can be brought up by pressing <ESC>, <O>, <P> or <space> in-game.
Oh, you're still here? While the game is a thing on its own, it's inspired by and named after TangoTek's Hermitcraft minigame "Decked Out". It was made in two days. I hope you'll have fun.

Hiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it helps you :)
-The concept of the game is pretty good, and I really like how the difficulty in the game is managed.-The gameplay mechanics in general are pretty good but it took me some time to get into the fighting mechanics.
-Visually the game looks quite awesome and the level design is pretty interesting.
-There's a lot of potential in this game, if you add a short story on it and give it a little roguelike twist you could have a pretty interesting project ^^.
Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)
Regards
Hey, thank you for comments about the game! I can really tell it took some time to get a hang of the mechanics - you're not the only one who didn't fully get the compass mechanics either. Watching you move right through the treasure area and not once using the compass when you're there hurts. But that's my fault for making an esoteric game.
I might subscribe if you manage to get a win in the game ;)
(using the compass on the marked spot with all the particles, then returning home without dying)
hey, thanks so much! It was interesting to see you play, and I certainly learned something. One of the best strategies is to trick enemies into attacking eachother, but this happens too rarely now that I made the game start exclusively with rats.
And yeah, if I am to continue with the game, the obvious thing would be to make your score *do* something.
Again thanks!
