Early in 2020 I had a dream about a passive aggressive, Southern Gothic grandma ghost that bullied everyone about their insufficient Christmas decorating until they cried. It attempted to goad me but, being unfamiliar with this horrible Christmas spirit tradition, I was unmoved. It muttered a wretched prophecy at me and then floated back out the door, into the night.
Less than 24 hours later I wrote that dream into a creature for the amazing MÖRK BORG system by Ockult Örtmästare Games and the Stockholm Kartell. And then I sat on it. Kept it in the vault where it laid. Watching...waiting...
THE TIME OF WAITING IS OVER! On this bleakest of holiday seasons, Granny is here. A Southern Gothic monstrosity inspired by a dream. This dread creature is sure to haunt your players right where they're safest: In their own homes. During the holidays. Sneering with judgment.
