This refreshing Orange Crush Cocktail is the perfect boozy beverage to wet your whistle this summer!
You know what I haven’t shared in quite a while guys? A cocktail! So today we’re toasting toThirsty Thursday with my new favorite little libation for Summer 2018, this refreshing Orange Crush Cocktail!
Tom and I got together with a bunch of our friends at the beach a few weeks ago for the Memorial Day holiday and the cocktail of choice was an Orange Crush. I must be living under a rock because I had never heard of an Orange Crush.
Let’s just say, I’ve come out from under my rock and joined the party. Once again, my good friends have got me covered! Seriously, this fruity little number will be on repeat all summer long at the BHK. It’s super citrusy and the perfect thirst quencher for summer cocktailing!
A Few Cook’s Notes for Orange Crush Cocktail recipe:
I highly recommend freshly squeezing oranges for this recipe. So much better than bottled from the market.
The brand of orange liqueur I use for the recipe is Cointreau. Cointreau is a triple sec.
I used regular vodka for this recipe because I thought it had enough orange flavor with the Cointreau and the orange juice. You could also substitute an orange flavored vodka for more intense orange flavor. (Pick your poison…lol!)
And always remember….drink responsibly.
And if you’re looking for some other fabulous cocktails for summer, try mySauvignon Sunset,The Charleston Fizz, myTipsy Cat or my Blueberry Kiwi Mojito.
Hope y’all have an awesome weekend! Cheers to Thirsty Thursday! Enjoy!

I am definitely crushing on this orange crush, Mare! I’ve had an orange crush one (possibly twice at most) in my life, and I honestly have zero clue why I haven’t had more! Maybe it’s because I was waiting on the PERFECT recipe… and guess what?! Now I have one thanks to you! This will definitely be on the summer cocktail rotation! Pinning! Cheers, dear!

I like the sound of this drink!! When I saw the title of your post, I couldn’t help think of the Orange Crush I used to drink as a kid (the soda pop) – not sure if you guys have it in the States, but we certainly had it in Canada, and my mom let me have some as an occasional treat. I love this grown-up version!

I’ve been living under a rock too, thanks for helping me join the party! The only Orange Crush I knew of before was the bottled version that I would beg my mom for growing up! ;) But I much prefer the idea of this grown up version. And, as you said, it’s incredible what fresh citrus does for a cocktail!
