About this site
Theatricalia will hopefully becomethe repository of theatreproductions on the internet. In doing so, it will enable people to discovertheatre that is going on around them, follow actors they have seen in previousproductions, and record memorable events of productions they have seen.
Theatricalia was written by me in my spare time, because I needed it to exist. We had seen some fantastic actors in theRSC Histories Cycle, and found there was no way to find out what other things those actors were going to be in, or indeed had been in apart from their short blurbs in the programme.
Those parts of Theatricalia created by its users or from other open datasetsare available under theOpen Database Licence. All factual content in those parts is licensed under theDatabase Contents Licence;copyright material (e.g. uploaded photos) remains with the copyright holder.I need to find time to finish accessing the data via an API, linked data, and whatnot, but please doget in touch if I can do something useful for youin the mean time.
