Wreck-Gar is a product of his environment. Unfortunately, this environment is thePlanet of Junkion, a distant world of trash which is bombarded by oldEarth television broadcasts. Not only is Wreck-Gar's mismatched body collected from the detritus around him, but his mind is an equally mismatched hodgepodge of Earthling pop culture. These humans' cheesy slogans and sales pitches from decades past form the patchwork of Wreck-Gar's scatterbrained personality.
It is with this demeanor that Wreck-Gar leads the Junkions, a tribe (or possibly race) of junk-robotTransformers who inhabit his world. Despite the pop culture of his race being derived from strangers light years away, Wreck-Gar can be strongly xenophobic towards intruders. Thankfully, this attitude is easily broken, and once he befriends you, he will be a selfless ally. He oversees his people's daily activities of "sorting" through their planet's collection of scrap, though what basis they use to sort the material has yet to be identified. Something of a romantic, Wreck-Gar has been known to woo several Junkion ladies in different universes, includingNancy andRum-Maj.
In battle, Wreck-Gar is easy to knock down, but near-impossible tokeep down, thanks to the unique physiology of the Junkions. He tends to lose pieces easily when he takes damage, but he can repair that damage with lightning speed, and it's possible that even if he's reduced to a pile of parts it's only a short time before he's back on his feet again swinging his axe. This rapid-healing ability reaches almost instantaneous speed on his home planet of Junk, or anywhere he can get his hands on scrap metal. Wreck-Gar wields, in addition to his energy axe, adecelerator laser that can bring the cerebral activity of its victim to a lumbering halt.
Steadfast and dependable, powerful and unexpectedly wise, Wreck-Gar reveals himself to be much more than the sum of his parts.
When a ship crash-landed on the planet of Junk, Wreck-Gar at first viewed the invaders as thieves and enemies. But he and his Junkions chose not to engage them immediately, and kept out of sight while other invaders attacked and destroyed the initial group'sleader. This moment of weakness was when Wreck-Gar chose to attack. After getting the invaders on the run, Wreck-Gar foughtone of them for a while, cornering him, beforeone of the smaller, squishier invaders took him out with an I-beam to the back of the head.
Wreck-Gar came to just as more invaders arrived:Hot Rod,Kup,Wheelie and theDinobots. After some explanations and introductions, Wreck-Gar and his Junkions were pacified with theuniversal greeting. After Wreck-Gar ordered the Junkions to rebuild Ultra Magnus, their fallen leader, he joined forces with these "Autobots" in their quest to destroy the planet-eater,Unicron, once and for all. With the press of a few buttons, Wreck-Gar unleasheda ship from underneath the wreckage of his planet of junk, suitable for escorting his new comrades to the planetCybertron, where Unicron was headed next.
The Junkions, like pretty much everyone else, didn't fare well against Unicron. Their ship managed to last longer than most in the battle, proving to be highly resistant to Unicron's fire-breath (due in part certainly to the Junkions' rapid-repair skills), but was ultimately crushed by Unicron's hand.
Wreck-Gar survived, as did their Autobot travel mates, appearing with the rest of Rodimus Prime's Autobot team on Cybertron after Unicron's destruction. The Transformers: The Movie
On the planetGoo, Rodimus and Ultra Magnus communicated with Wreck-Gar using a two-way TV. Surprised at the sight of his kemosabes being healthy on a dangerous planet like Goo, he was nonetheless capable of striking up a deal with Rodimus. During a battle with Galvatron and the Quintessons, Wreck-Gar was able to control the planet so that it would suck the Autobots into safety while rejecting their enemies. After that, he calmedArcee by reviving a previously disassembled Springer faster than snap, crackle, pop.Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4
Tricked into boarding a Quintesson scientist's ship (disguised as a junky television shuttle), Wreck-Gar was placed into a completely sterile room. The Quintesson speculated that being removed from the messiest place in the universe and put in a clean room would send Wreck-Gar into a fetal position of shock and despair; instead, Wreck-Gar tore the room apart until it resembled the surface of Junk, then sat down on a large chunk of metal, happily proclaiming "Home sweet home!" He then met his fellow study subjects:Ultra Magnus,Cyclonus, andMarissa Faireborn. When the ship was caught in an electron storm, Wreck-Gar fired his detachable hand at the cell controls, disabling the bars, then battled the Quintessons' bodyguard, losing his weapon-arm in the process (which he easily fixed). However, the ship was caught in the grip of a black hole, and Wreck-Gar was part of an escape pod scuffle that left everyone stranded on the ship as it was pulled into anegative universe. He then used some of his components, along with ones from the other Transformers, to fix the ship and allow them to escape the black hole.
He is one of the few beings in the galaxy who likesclowns. The Killing Jar
Wreck-Gar interrupted one of Kup's stories to inform him of a calamity on Goo, to Grimlock's confusion and frustration. When they arrived, Wreck-Gar pointed the Autobots to a destroyedEarth Defense Command station and said that a lot of things have landed on the planet lately. ThoughRunamuck andBlast Off swooped down to attack, Wreck-Gar and the others made their getaway inside Sky Lynx. Arriving onDread, Wreck-Gar helped fight off thePredacons that were menacing Kup, and then shot at Galvatron's forces with the other Autobots. While they did this, Kup was able to defeatthe monster inhabiting Dread, causing a volcanic eruption in the process. Wreck-Gar and his comrades boarded Sky Lynx and flew off... but he was not pleased at the prospect of Kup telling another one of his stories on the way back.Chaos
JoiningBlaster,Rewind,Ramhorn, andPerceptor on a mission to examine strange chronal energy readings in an asteroid belt, Wreck-Gar got more than he bargained for when they were attacked by a legion ofSharkticons. After chopping apart his fair share of the brutes, he was accidentally sent back in time nine million years along with everyone except Perceptor, to when theQuintessons ruled Cybertron. After fleeing from aguardian robot and teaming up with a rebel Autobot group, Wreck-Gar aided the others in their attack on the Quintessons' base, which would have ended in their untimely demise ifA-3 had not returned to the past and deactivated the Guardians, forcing the Quintessons to flee. The time-displaced Autobots then returned to their proper era.Forever Is a Long Time Coming
One day, Wreck-Gar was watching television with hislady friend, but little did they know that Quintessons were spying on them. Wreck-Gar and his Junkions forced off the Quintessons and their Sharkticon pawns, but the Quintessons, aware of Wreck-Gar's love for television, inserted subliminal messages into his programs. These messages managed to convince him and his species to clean the planet and attack all other life forms, Autobot and Decepticon included. Now the centerpiece of their master plan, the hypnotized Wreck-Gar sent a Quintesson broadcast throughout the galaxy, causing tension between all forms of life that now refused to accept each other. Blaster was able to counter the transmissions with some of his own, and Wreck-Gar returned to the Autobots' side. The Big Broadcast of 2006
Wreck-Gar followed Galvatron down an old shaft with a team of other Autobots when the Decepticon came to Cybertron looking for Perceptor's new power core. They only found an array of mutants, whom the Autobots soundly fought off. They were unprepared for what came next; acolossal beast that trapped Ultra Magnus. Wreck-Gar saved Magnus with his axe while yellinga familiar battle cry, but got himself caught in the process. Wreck-Gar bemoaned his fate as the Dweller drained him of his energy. The angered Springer managed to recover his friend's body, but he discovered that Wreck-Gar had now become anenergy vampire, bent on taking the energy from other beings. Wreck-Gar promptly infected Springer, and later got to many other Transformers (including Scourge and Cyclonus!), and would not stop there. Thinking quickly, Perceptor created an energy imbalance that returned the vampires to their normal states. The Dweller in the Depths
During the outbreak of theHate Plague,Rodimus Prime summoned Wreck-Gar to attempt to repairOptimus Prime, but unfortunately,he was dead, Jim. Wreck-Gar remained on Earth to assist in trying to stop the hate plague, showing up later to rescue Rodimus from the infected Ultra Magnus, but this quickly proved unsuccessful as Ultra Magnus escaped Wreck-Gar's lasso and infected him. In turn, Wreck-Gar infected Rodimus Prime. The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1 His warehouses were overstocked with hate plague priced to move, for alimited time only.

Wreck-Gar was there to witness a Quintesson ship, ridden by Hot Rod, Kup, and others, landing on the Planet of Junk.Rodimus vs. Cyclonus
Detritus's ultimate goal was to overthrow Wreck-Gar as leader of the Junkions.Collector's Edition Detritus bio
In 2011, Wreck-Gar was hanging out at Autobot headquarters on Cybertron when Galvatron and his newHeadmaster warriors attacked the planet. He merely pointed out the Decepticons' attack being shown on the telly and (successfully) bossed Grimlock around before running off to try to help anyone who might have fallen and been unable to get up. While Kup andSpike were debating the weakness inVector Sigma, he told them to make sure operators were standing by and darted back off into the hallway, never to be seen again.Four Warriors Come out of the Sky
Wreck-Gar helped the Autobots Rodimus and Kup defend a "treasure" recently found on Junk by his fellow Junkion, Scrapheap. They were attacked by Galvatron's forces before an entity known as the Seeker arrived and spirited away Wreck-Gar's allies and opponents.Unending Battle
After his friends returned from their adventure, Wreck-Gar was present to congratulate Scrapheap when Rodimus Prime offered his a position in the Autobots.Macrocosmic Seekers
After a group of Autobots crash-landed on theplanet of Junk, Wreck-Gar and his fellow Junkions saw their intrusion as an unwelcomed one... especially after the Autobots began "stealing" their garbage to repair their ship! Wreck-Gar ordered several Junk Guns brought forth to blast the Autobots, but didn't get a chance to use them before another arrival made his presence known:Galvatron! The Junkions held back as the Decepticon leader and his lackeys opened fire on the Autobots, ripped their leader to shreds and took off with abauble the Autobots had with them at the time.
The fighting having come to an end, Wreck-Gar led a charge against the remaining Autobots, only to be once more interrupted; another ship made planetfall, containing yet more Autobots! One of the latest arrivals spoke theuniversal greeting and offered Wreck-Gar some "tasty sticks," which he readily accepted. Now friends withHot Rod and his kin, Wreck-Gar had his men rebuildUltra Magnus as his show of good faith. The Autobots next told their hosts that they had to leave to confront the world-eater,Unicron, a battle the Junkions were eager to be a part of. Wreck-Gar revealed that planet Junk itself was a sort of Transformer, and converted it into a massive spacecraft to do battle with the titan. Though things looked grim when the Autobots' craft wound up crashing into the enemy, they soon escaped from Unicron's body, the latter then exploding thanks to the actions the Autobots had taken part in while inside him.The Final Battle!
After the destruction of Unicron, Wreck-Gar remained on Cybertron for a time and helped the Autobots regain control of the planet while attempting to fend offDecepticon attacks under the new command ofShockwave.Wanted: Galvatron — Dead or Alive! WhenRodimus Prime planned atime travel adventure to end the threat posed by former Decepticon commander,Galvatron, Wreck-Gar decided to come along and leapt into the time-jump effect at the last second, causing his landing vector to be significantly displaced away from his fellow travelers.Burning Sky! Stumbling across the deactivated body ofBumblebee by chance, Wreck-Gar put his considerable mechanical talents to work and rebuilt the scrapped Autobot into a new form asGoldbug. The two then joined Wreck-Gar's allies and the present-dayUltra Magnus in an attempt to stop Galvatron's schemes.Hunters Wreck-Gar managed to get a hold of Galvatron'stime jump trigger device, and planned to jury rig the device to send all the time travelers permanently back to2007. His recalibrations failed, though, and the Autobots returned to the future while Galvatron remained in the past.Fire on High!Vicious Circle!
Still, Wreck-Gar had proven himself a worthy ally, and Rodimus gave him an official escort back to the planet of Junk and his people. Upon arriving home, however, Wreck-Gar stumbled into a plot by the Dark God himself, Unicron, to co-opt the planet Junk as a new body. It seems Unicron's head had blown free when his original body was destroyed by theMatrix and had drifted into range of the planetoid. Unicron's vast mental powers had enabled him to enslave the entire Junkion people, and Wreck-Gar was forced to"cancel"one of his fellow Junkions while making his escape, an act for which he swore Unicron would pay dearly. After escapingDeath's Head, another of Unicron's mind-pawns, Wreck-Gar gathered a large quantity of explosives directly underneath Unicron's head and set them to blow. He managed to destroy what was left of Unicron's body just as Rodimus Prime contained the Chaos-Bringer's living essence within the confines of the Matrix, ending his threat for the moment. The Legacy of Unicron!
Sometime later, by sheer cosmic chance, Wreck-Gar came into possession of aQuintesson Journal, a message canister containing details of their plans to leave the dying planetQuintessa and colonize other mechanical worlds, including Cybertron. When he attempted to bring this information to Rodimus Prime and the Autobots, Wreck-Gar was intercepted en route by the Quintessons and taken captive.Space Pirates! They tried to torture the location of the canister out of him, but all they got wastotal nonsense. The Big Broadcast of 2006 Managing to escape, Wreck-Gar hooked up with an Autobot spy namedWheelie, and the two of them blasted off from Quintessa. After eluding his pursuers, Wreck-Gar met up withsome ofhis fellow Junkions and rigged the message canister so that its contents were broadcast across the universe. Instantly, all the potential colony worlds were alerted and forewarned of the possibility of a Quintesson invasion, and overnight the Quintessons became one of the most hated and hunted races in all the galaxies, throwing all their future plans into turmoil.Space Pirates!
In a strange alternate future, Wreck-Gar and hislady were interrupted in their television watching by aSharkticon attack. Wreck-Gar rallied his fellowJunkions to repel the invaders. He didn't know that the Sharkticons were sent by theQuintessons to look for theirdata canisters which, during the fight, was hopelessly lost amongst all the junk. The Quintessons then initiated a new plan which involved beaming a hypnotic signal through the Junkions' televisions. The signal made the Junkions extremely hostile to any foreigners as well as compelling them to meticulously organize their junk. In this way the Junkions would find the data canister for the Quintessons. In an encounter with theAerialbots, the hypnotic signal was momentarily altered to compel Wreck-Gar to bounce the signal throughout the galaxy, causing television watchers everywhere to attack their neighbors and travel toJunkion.
The Autobots also arrived and successfully disrupted the hypnosis signal. Once freed, Wreck-Gar and his Junkions joined the Autobots in driving the Decepticons off the planet. Rodimus Prime questioned Wreck-Gar about what had transpired, but the Junkion leader was just as much in the dark about the whole affair as he was.The Big Broadcast of 2006

When anAutobot shuttle was forced to land onThe Junk Planet for repairs,Blurr caught the attention of Wreck-Gar. Wreck-Gar was impressed by Blurr's powerful engine...and decided he wanted it! He attacked the Autobots with a horde of Junkions, intent on hacking the still-sputtering engine from Blurr's body, and foughtSpringer in the process.
The misunderstanding came to an end whenKup, an old hand at negotiating with natives, located their missing shuttle and instead engaged the Junkions in a barter session, trading weapons and energon. The Junkions waved as their new friends departed with all their parts intact.Battle on the Junk Planet
Wreck-Gar participated in a tumultuous battle on a moon base, wherein he chargedPredaking alongsideRodimus Prime andWheelie.Decipher the Decepticon
As the Autobots attempted to repel aSixshot-led Decepticon attack, Wreck-Gar rushed up toOptimus Prime with the news thatGalvatron was attacking the energon plant. He led the Autobot leader there, but they were too late—theNullification Cannon had destroyed the energon stocks. A while later,Hot Rod andBlurr returned fromTau-Ursa with aLogicon recording revealing the location ofMetascan Alpha, a storehouse of energon. Wreck-Gar was present at its playing, and subsequently fought off two Decepticon spies, theClones. The War Against the Destructons, Chapter 1 of 3
In one possible scenario, after having learned that the Decepticons were planning to use aBrain Drain device on a crowd concert goers that included his son, Sparkplug Witwicky attempted to contact the Autobots via radio. He came in communication with Wreck-Gar instead. Sparkplug told the Junkion that he needed to talk to Ultra Magnus asap, and so Wreck-Gar found his way to Sparkplug's house, and prompted the human to hop onto his motorcycle mode. The pair took off in direction of the Autobots’ city, Metroplex. As they were driving, however, they spotted an old abandoned building guarded by Decepticons. Sparkplug realized that the Brain Drain device might be held within.
If Sparkplug decided to keep on pushing Wreck-Gar to head for Metroplex, the strain caused the Junkion to break down. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, without any spare parts to repair Wreck-Gar, the pair were unable to reach the Autobots in time to warn them of the Decepticons’ plot.
If Sparkplug instructed Wreck-Gar to try and sneak into the lab, the Junkion circled around until they came upon the building's backdoor, seemingly unwatched. They made a dash for the opening, only to run into Soundwave exiting the building. Soundwave began firing upon the duo, forcing them to retreat. Unfortunately, as they tried to run, they found their escape route cut off by a whole detachment of Decepticons. The pair, now surrounded by Decepticons, were instructed to surrender.
If Wreck-Gar did surrender, he was immediately blown to smithereens by the lying Decepticons.
If instead, Sparkplug and Wreck-Gar made a mad dash to escape, the two of them managed to get past the Decepticons surrounding them, but were then chased down by Thrust and Laserbeak, who managed to send them skidding into a nearby lake. As the Decepticons moved in for the kill, Hot Rod, Kup and Jazz showed up, shifting the odds and rescuing Sparkplug and Wreck-Gar. With Thrust and Laserbeak retreating, the Autobots were brought up-to-date on the situation, and had to decide whether they would launch a counter-attack on the Decepticons’ lab, or if they would send Hot Rod for reinforcements while the rest of them headed for the rock concert.
If the Autobots decided to storm the laboratory, the group attacked with such ferocity and suddenness that they scared off most of the Decepticons guarding the place. Finding their only opposition left being a small group of Decepticons, Wreck-Gar and the others successfully beat them back, until Soundwave attempted to escape with the Brain Drain device in hand.
If Hot Rod attempted to stop Soundwave, Laserbeak managed to grab hold of the device and flew off to meet Galvatron. The Autobots being too low on power to pursue meant that the Decepticons would ultimately be victorious. If Jazz attempted to stop him however, he was successful in doing so and the Autobots successfully destroyed the Brain Drain device.
Alternatively, if Wreck-Gar, Sparkplug, Kup and Jazz headed towards the concert while Hot Rod headed back to Metroplex for reinforcements, the small group found themselves wondering how they could defend the huge sea of people by themselves upon their arrival. Hearing the Decepticons approaching, but uncertain from which direction they were coming from, the Autobots had to decide whether they would station themselves on the west side of the concert, or at its south.
If the Autobots decided to head for the west side of the concert, Wreck-Gar and the others positioned themselves just in time to see a whole squadron of Decepticons coming into view. Catching the Decepticons by surprise with a first volley, the Autobots managed to buy themselves a few minutes as the Decepticons regrouped before circling around for another pass. During the Decepticons’ second pass, Wreck-Gar was blown to pieces. With Sparkplug's help, he was able to reassemble himself. But then Wreck-Gar was hit by Decepticon fire once more, causing him to again fall to pieces.
If Sparkplug went off to alert an incoming convoy of Autobots, Wreck-Gar was left to reassemble himself. He presumably returned to full health as the Autobots soon succeeded in destroying the Brain Drain device and drove the Decepticons away.
If Sparkplug continued to fix Wreck-Gar instead, the Junkion assumed his motorcycle mode as soon as he was back in one piece. Using a nearby toppled speaker as a ramp, Wreck lept into Galvatron, smashing the Brain Drain device. Autobot reinforcements arrived just in time to congratulate Wreck-Gar as the Decepticons fled.
Alternatively, if the Autobots headed for the south side of the concert, they were unable to see the Decepticons coming from the other direction, and were destroyed in a surprise Decepticon attack.Project Brain Drain

When theRecyclons arrived on Junk, intending to convert the planet into energon for their overseers, theHarvest Lords of Sigrath, Wreck-Gar approached the leader,Salvage, and got two blaster bolts in the chest. After a near-instantaneous repair job, Wreck-Gar called out his fellows and swarmed the Recyclons, severely damaging them and forcing them to retreat to their ship, theReclamation, and lift off.
Salvage returned to the planet's surface, leaving theReclamation in orbit, in order to make peace with Wreck-Gar. But it was all a ruse; Salvage slapped a device on Wreck-Gar, a more powerful version of the Junkion leader's owndecelerator laser, preventing him from attacking or calling his people while the orbiting Recyclons fired a beam from thePrime Processing Unit to convert the planet to energon from space. However, Wreck-Gar proved even stronger than Salvage expected, and he called the Junkions to fire a tractor beam at theReclamation, sending it crashing into Junk seconds before the Prime Processing Unit activated, causing the ship to explode. Salvage himself lived only a few seconds more than his fellows, as the Junkions closed in on him immediately afterwards.Collect and Save

The Transformers eventually came back to Junkion as their war intensified; during the subsequent "Battle of Junkion" the planet became a minor battleground in the Cybertronian war—and culminated in the planet's destruction, when the battle of intellects betweenProwl andShockwave ended with one side sabotaging the planet's gravimetric core to detonate. Wreck-Gar, Rum-Maj, and thousands of Junkion refugees and theirSharkticon slaves piled aboard a giganticcorkscrew-shaped vessel and abandoned the shattered remnants of their homeworld. They became nomadic traders, scavenging, bartering for, and exchanging esoteric technologies and trinkets as they wandered from planet to planet.A Lonely Pillar on the Plain During their interplanetary travels, he fell in love withRum-Maj on the planetThrullTime Will Rust and eventually took her on as his new consort, having been "wounded in the heart" by an earlier relationship.A Lonely Pillar on the Plain
Circa2017, the Junkions stumbled across the planetEarth during their travels, a planet with abundant supplies ofOre-13 and the key, the Junkions believed, to restoring their ravaged homeworld to its former glory. To Walk Among the ChosenA Lonely Pillar on the Plain
Making planetfall in theAlps,To Walk Among the Chosen Wreck-Gar and Rum-Maj disembarked, meetingOptimus Prime and the other Autobots. The two Junkions laid out their sales pitch: they had come to Earth in the hopes of trading their many technological secrets for the mineral they sought. Initial diplomatic overtures went poorly; Rum-Maj remained skeptical about Prime's diplomatic status, and when a curious Wreck-Gar investigated an incomingG.I. Joe taskforce, he was knocked apart by aSky Hawk—though the Junkion leader was unfazed, and his head continued negotiations as some other Junkions cobbled his body back together. On the behest of G.I. Joe, the Autobots withdrew toAutobot City, and some hours later the two Junkion leaders arrived aboard a shuttle for a tour of the base. Noting the critically woundedSideswipe, Wreck-Gar offered the Transformers apositron core, one of the few objects capable of repairing the dying Autobot.A Lonely Pillar on the Plain
Back aboard their vessel, the two Junkions watched asCosmos,Frenzy, andRumble carried out what they thought was a covert infiltration of the Junkion mothership on Prime's orders... unaware that theirstealth paint failed to conceal them from advanced Junkion sensors until they stumbled upon the ship's Sharkticon holding pen.Behind My Bleeding Back Wreck-Gar and Rum-Maj observed the creatures incapacitate the interlopers; while Wreck-Gar was still keen to make a deal with the Transformers, Rum-Maj asserted that they couldn't trust Optimus and hatched a plan of her own—if they couldn'tbargain for the Ore-13, then they would simplytake it by forcefully colonizing the planet.
At a diplomatic summit between Optimus, the Junkions, and several human leaders, Wreck-Gar joined his beloved in tossing Cosmos's battered but still-living body off of their shuttle as a warning before he reluctantly gave the order to unleash the Sharkticon school on the Autobots and humans alike.Dance Among the Shadows The battle soon began going south for the Junkions and so Wreck-Gar opted to slip away, taking the positron core with him. Before he could get far, however, he was intercepted byArcee, who demanded that he take her to the positron core. Wreck-Gar babbled for a while before revealing that he was carrying it in his chest.Future Glories Lost
Determined to save Sideswipe, Arcee pummelled Wreck-Gar at length, but his ramshackle physiology meant that he was hard to put down. As the beatdown continued, the Sharkticons—swayed bySoundwave's rhetoric and having turned against their former masters—stormed the ship ahead of Prime and hisColonist Soldiers, and amidst the chaos a stray shot hit the precious core... causing it to detonate, blowing Wreck-Gar's body to bits in the process. A defeated Rum-Maj cradled Wreck-Gar's still-living head in her arms as she lamented her failure to rebuild their world. Rather than finish off his enemies, however, Prime managed to convince his troops to lay down arms, hoping to negotiate a lasting peace between the two cultures, and the two Junkion leaders gratefully accepted his terms of surrender.
OnMarissa Faireborn's suggestion, the Junkions relocated to the abandonedEDC base in theBikini Atoll, and under their direction the derelict facility would be torn down and rebuilt into a new city for Transformers and their ilk on Earth, a "Little Cybertron."Feel Safe Without Regrets He and Rum-Maj helped supervise the construction of their new home, affectionately bickering with each other all the while, though some of Wreck-Gar's... unorthodox architectural designs proved unstable at best. The Next Day, and the Next Still a disembodied head, Wreck-Gar and some other Junkions tried to repair the positron core as a show of goodwill, but were unable to restore the artifact. Instead, the Junkion leader offered up amnemopathis projector so that the Autobots could humanely terminate Sideswipe's failing life support systems. The Junkion supervised the initial operation; after Sideswipe's passing, he mourned his inability to fix the device that would have allowed him to save the red Autobot's life. The Life of Sideswipe
Months later, Rum-Maj and Wreck-Gar—still a head—attended the opening of a new Ore-13 mine inKentucky. Despite Rum-Maj's gloomy proclamations, Wreck-Gar tried to keep her spirits up.Surfeit of Primes After retiring to Little Cybertron some time later, Wreck-Gar's manservantDetritus informed his boss thatJazz had recently been arrested by G.I. Joe in order to facilitateRom's voyage to Cybertron, and later related this news toSlide and the other colonists.Unstopped and Unstoppable
This tidbit of news was soon overshadowed when the threat ofUnicron made itself manifest; as the monster planet tore through the Cybertronian colony worlds until only Earth remained, Slide and the other colonists set out on a mission of vengeance, intent on rectifying Prime's perceived failures through force, and when word came of their attack onTrypticon atMount Rushmore, Wreck-Gar glumly mused that he had encouraged the young Autobots. Determined to not let their new home fall to violence, the pair set out aboard a shoal of Sharkticons, but arrived too late to stop the violence that resulted in the deaths ofGimlet and Joe soldierMainframe—but just in time to watch as Unicron materialized over the planet.Time Will Rust As a grieving Soundwave cradled Mainframe's dead body, the two were momentarily overwhelmed by theoutlier's telepathic abilities amplifying his emotions, though Wreck-Gar cheerfully pointed out that the situation would translate to good PR regarding human-Cybertronian relations.A Sunrise Dark

After the battle had been won, Wreck-Gar and Rum-Maj reconvened in Little Cybertron to help bury the dead and attend Optimus Prime's funeral. There, Rum-Maj mused that the cost of victory had been so high that it hardlyfelt like a victory; Wreck-Gar, on the other hand, opined that since life kept going, with or with out you, nothing could truly be called a victory, and you simply had to do your best for as long as you lived.Post
