TheTyrannosaurus rex at theGriffin Rock natural history museum was damaged in a fire that the Burns family attended along with theirRescue Bots. That night, the damaged robot came online and left the museum, rampaging throughGriffin Rock. Attracted to the drive-in, it was spotted by the Rescue Bots who happened to be nearby. They lured it away from town into a forested area where they worked together to deactivate the dinosaur and return it to the museum.Family of Heroes

After some break-ins at the lab,Doc Greene took theT. rex and reprogrammed it into "Trex" to guard the lab. He also programmed it to fetch him coffee, do theMacarena, and twice a day plugged Trex into the mainframe to check it hadn't been hacked. Ashadowy figure implanted a virus into Trex and it was passed on to the mainframe the next time Trex was plugged in. While the island's technology went mad, Trex stalked Greene andFrankie around the lab before running off into the fog. He again encountered the Rescue Bots who subdued him untilCody Burns had the idea of using voice commands to override the virus. Trex headed back to the lab to make coffee, and when he arrived there, Greene purged the virus from his systems.Return of the Dino Bot

Trex helped scare offEvan andMyles when they attempted to steal thestasis machine.One for the Ages WhenChase, pretending to work for Evan and Myles, broke in to steal someFloatium, Trex obediently stood down on command.Bots and Robbers

Frankie utilized Trex as a mount during a game ofRescue Ball, and managed to score a goal with his help.Double Villainy Doc Greene took Trex toWayward Island for protection. When they encountered a group of realdinosaurs, Trex saved the Doc from a rock fall, but in the process became trapped under the rocks.Optimus Prime laterscanned Trex to gain a dinosaur alternate mode, and was able to free Trex from under the rocks.Land Before Prime Frankie entered a race against Optimus and the Rescue Bots, riding Trex to help even things up.Big Game

Trex was drinking mustard from Doc Greene's mustard-making machine whenQuint Quarry pointed out that Doc Greene was the only one around who built robot dinosaurs.Quarry's Quarry He and the rest of town had to work to keep the island in the air as they flew it from theArctic back toMaine.Today and Forever

During theVelgrox invasion, Trex was webbed up by the aliens.New NormalSkip Scobble broke into the laboratory, but was so quick he was gone before Trex could chase him off.A Brush with Danger Trex attended Frankie's birthday party and was the one to give her the gift from the whole family. He later proved ineffective when the MorBot broke into the lab, as the MorBot simply clamped a tire over his jaws and he was unable to remove it himself.Upgrades
