During an early battle of the war, he was one of the many civilians who took shelter within the walls ofIacon, under the protection ofSwerve,Rung, andMirage.Primacy #4

At some point after this, he chose to abandon Cybertron altogether. Followingthe rebirth ofCybertron and the end of the Great War, this NAIL was among the thousands of Cybertronians who returned to their homeworld. The NAIL walked on the streets ofIacon in a large crowd of Autobots,Decepticons, and NAILs.The Autonomy Lesson Soon thereafter, the NAIL was among the bystanders who witnessedNeedlenose andHorri-Bull trying to beat upZetca, and when Horri-Bull refused to desist,Bumblebee seemingly detonated Horri-Bull'sinhibitor/deterrence chip.The Autonomy LessonThe World & Everything in It Some time later, the NAIL was standing with several other NAILs. He was apparently arguing with a red-hued NAIL when the area suddenly started glowing. Unfortunately, the revived Cybertron was transmitting energy to revitalize populated areas, but withoutits first moon, that excess energy discharged in massive ground-level explosions, including one which killed all the NAILs present at that spot.Stick Together

• Josh Perez colored this NAIL to resemblethe silver, black, and green 'Series 2' redeco of theTonkaGoBots characterCy-Kill, thoughAndrew Griffith hadn't deliberately drawn the NAIL to resemble theGoBots villain. The wiki's nickname comes from the 3 February 2016Renegade Rhetoricstory which used all the GoBots' alternate decoes to represent them when enslaved by evil aliens called Overseers, a story that in no way resembles any stories from the originalStar Trek.
• Amusingly, this NAIL dies not long after his debut, not unlike many versions of Cy-Kill inTransformers stories.
