And there… at the end of the scrap… was a HOOK.

The toughened and fearless newJunkion cadetScraphook is built like a particularly heavy truck.[1] This bruiser is of average intelligence and isn't terribly fast, but his powerful dual phaser blasters unleash disabling electromagnetic energy pulses. Scraphook can also lend parts of himself to other Junkions to serve as armor, or even combine with other Junkions to form combiners![2] And if everyone else is busy, he's proficient in delivering his own "elbow hook drop" and his patented "junkpile driver." Wait, how did he lose the eye?[3]

Part of the first wave of Deluxes inLegacy: Evolution, Scraphook transforms into a junky, post-apocalyptic, weirdly-symmetrical-damage-having tow truck. He is outfitted with seven different accessories, which can all be integrated into his truck mode. His wheels are separated from his hubcaps, meaning any accessories plugged into the rims'5 mm holes similarly don't spin. His lower elbow joints are made of unpaintable softer plastic, which often causes his arms to pop off when attempting to rotate or transform them, but they're just as easily reattached. Again, due to said softer plastic, it's generally impossible for him to wield medium-to-larger weapons unless the arms are raised horizontally to the front.
Scraphook'sEvo-Fusion function is analogous to theWeaponizer gimmick from theWar for Cybertron Trilogy toylines: his body splits apart to form armor and weapon enhancements for his allies. Unlike previous figures of this nature, however, Scraphook does not need to be disassembled to change from robot to truck and back.
As per designerMark Maher, Scraphook is color-matched to Junkion leaderStudio Series 86-09 Voyager ClassWreck-Gar.[4]
Scraphook was later retooled with a new head intoBuzzworthy Bumblebee Tow-Line and more heavily retooled into fellow (well… not so fellow) JunkionAxlegrease as well asLegacy: UnitedStar Raider Lockdown.
