At your Lincoln-Mercury dealer!

Pounce is the Decepticon equivalent ofRepugnus (though the difference between the two is fairly microscopic). He does the dirty jobs that even the other Decepticons find appalling. And as far as he's concerned, the dirtier the better. Anti-social, vicious, nasty, wily, silent, deadly and merciless are all appropriate descriptors for Pounce. What few realize is that much of Pounce's success at his job stems from the carefully cultivated reputation he's created for himself.

Pounce is the clone brother ofWingspan.

Terror is the stage on which I perform.

  • Takara ID number:D-94
  • Accessories: 2 "anti-personnel missile launching bayonets"
  • Known designers:Akira Mii (concept artist)
Released in the fourth year of Hasbro's USThe Transformers toyline (third year in Europe and in Takara'sFight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers line), Decepticon Clone Pounce tranforms into a robotic puma (at least, according to his bio). His robot mode is (mostly) identical to his Clone brotherWingspan (from the front at least). Pounce also has two heat-sensitiverubsigns on his torso: the one on his groin reveals the traditional Decepticon symbol, while the one on his chest reveals a puma head image, indicating which Clone he is. This is especially useful for those times when you can't just turn him over and see the kitty legs on the backs of his limbs.
His twin "anti-personnel missile launching bayonets" can be held as blasters or as swords, thanks to having dual5 mm posts. They can be mounted on his back/shoulders or on his haunches in puma mode.
TheChinese release of Pounce[3] & Wingspan,[4] released in 1993, lacks the "puma" rubsign, which has been replaced with a foil Decepticon insignia sticker.
He was only available in a two-pack with his brother/fellow Clone, Wingspan.
