• This ability should not be confused withcombiners, which combine separate characters into a single machine.
• Other Transformers exist that are able to split into component forms, for the most part these were introduced before the concept of sparks entered into fiction. Some have beenretconned into having mitotic sparks, but this may not apply to allmulti-component Transformers.
