As he's announcing his evil plot, he is attacked byArmada Starscream, who asks him to give up on his ambitions, explaining that the spiritual energy generated by his desire only serves to power up theZamojin who created this world. Refusing to let this happen, Starscream readies hisNull Laser Cannons in an attempt to destroy Windblade. Armada Megatron recognizes the situation, explaining that Starscream died channeling all his energy into this same attack while fighting agreat evil in their previous dimension, causingUltra Magnus to realize Starscream is in fact a ghost brought into existence by spirit energy.Rattrap is more concerned that if Starscream goes through with his plan, both heand Windblade will die, but fortunatelyAlpha Trion has a solution, using hisultra-drill to summon someone close to Starscream from his home universe—Alexis.
