Hikaru Midorikawa (緑川光Midorikawa Hikaru, bornMay 2,1968) is a Japanese voice actor and is represented byAoni Production. While he's been voice acting since 1988, he's also a singer, part of the music group E.M.U. (Entertainment Music Unit) alongside fellow Transformers actorsRyōtarō Okiayu,Nobutoshi Canna, andHideo Ishikawa. Hikaru is also known to play the saxophone, collects Gundam models, basketball, and dislikes sushi.

Some of Hikaru's many roles include Joe Rival fromThe Brave Express Might Gaine, Oliver the Great Western Engine fromThomas & Friends, Tokiya Mikagami ofFlame of Recca, Firion inDissidia: Final Fantasy, Wiserue inKishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger (and numerous otherSuper Sentai characters), Gridman in Tsuburaya'sGridman series, and Marth in theSuper Smash Bros. andFire Emblem series. His most famous roles are that of Heero Yuy fromGundam Wing, Zelgadis Greywords from theSlayers series, Softon fromBobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Eiru/Seijūrō Ginga fromSailor Moon R as well Fiore inPromise of the Rose, Android 16 inDragon Ball Z as well the current voice of Tenshinhan in the franchise and current media, and Leon Magnus/Judas fromTales of Destiny/Tales of Destiny 2.

Midorikawa is nicknamed by his fans asGreen River Light, which is the literal English translation of his name.
