Filch is aDecepticonCorvicon from theRobots in Disguise portion of theAligned continuity family.

Kind of a reverse-Flock-of-Seagulls thing she's got going there.

Filch is a Decepticon of exceedingly simple tastes. If it's shiny, she wants it. That's the long and short of it. It doesn't matter how worthless an item actually is, this maniacal mechanical magpie will take anything that even momentarily glints in the sunlight. She likes to build nests up high so the sun can make her prized collection of whatever all... shiny.

This wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't a really huge, really strong bird capable of ripping steel beams out of concrete to get whatever's caught her eye this time. Her penchant for pilfering has left a whole lot of collateral damage.

Like some vast, kleptomaniacal bird!

One of the many prisoners aboard theAlchemor, Filch was freed from herstasis pod when the ship crashed onEarth. She began nesting in the torch atop theCrown City Colossus outsideCrown City and collected any shiny objects from the surrounding area that caught her interest. She was eventually detected by theAutobots, resulting in her getting into a scuffle withBumblebee's team until she spotted a shiny transmission tower insulator and flew off with it. She next attempted to steal a beam from the bridge into Crown City, only to end up in a tug of war with Bumblebee, until she made off with both the beam andDenny Clay (his hat was shiny!), depositing both in her nest. When the Autobots caught up with her and started climbing the statue to rescue Denny, she fought them until they managed to render her unconscious. They took her back tothe scrapyard to be placed back in a stasis pod.Collect 'Em All

Filch's stasis pod was later taken back toCybertron byOptimus Prime,Windblade andRatchet.Decepticon Island (Part 2)

2015Robots in Disguise books

Thanks toGrimlock's clumsiness, Filch was freed from her stasis pod and took off. She didn't get far, snatchingScuzzard whom Bumblebee's team was in the process of bringing back to the scrapyard, and taking him to the nearby amusement park. When he started eating dodgems and growing larger, she decided he was threatening her territory and fought with him. The pair were found by the Autobots who managed to recapture them. Back in the scrapyard, Filch made another bid for freedom, only to be caught by Denny's electromagnet, and was returned to a stasis pod.Bumblebee Versus Scuzzard

  • Star Raider Filch (Deluxe Class, 2024)
Legacy: United "Star Raider Filch" is an extensiveretooling ofKingdomAirazor, transforming into a mechanical corvid. She even has an opening beak-jaw to caw at you with.
A notable change to the tooling is that her outer wings are detachable and can be reattached inshow-accurate positions on her arms via5 mm posts, replacing the arm-mounted blasters from the original tooling. Of course, this also allows them to be used as hand-held weapons.
While her on-package CG renders show her robot mode with the bird-toes pointed backwards (as you do with Airazor), her instructions and stock photography of the actual toy shows her with the bird-toes facing forward, as they are in her show model; she is also packaged this way.
Filch was revealed atWalmart Collector Con onMarch 7,2024, as part of the Walmartexclusive "Star Raider" collection.

Part of the thirdblind-bagged assortment ofTiny Titans, this is a small, soft-plastic figurine of Filch in her rarely-seen robot mode, although she is a bit off-model in places (most notably her feet and lack of tailfeathers).
She comes with a trading card with a scan-badge for theRobots in Disguise mobile game, which unlocks a random amount of Energon "currency" and a randomized bonus power-up item.
