Cosmos is a young, but giftedly brilliant and respected astronomer^[1] who knows quite a bit about space and alien planets. Unfortunately, he hasn't exactly gone out very much since he started his job. Little guy has zero social skills, which makes it pretty hard to get to the guy and know just what kind of person he is.

He turns into a mobile observatory buggy.^[2]

Cosmos was visible among many Autobots celebrating the return ofSentinel "Magnus", and waved his alternate-mode nacelles (instead of his arms) in the air as Sentinel promised to hunt downShockwave for assaultingUltra Magnus.Decepticon Air Later, he was seen cheering forOptimus Prime and his crew when they returned toCybertron after their victory overMegatron.Endgame, Part II

• Another Cosmos, this one lacking the nacelles and colored likeBrawn, appears in the overhead shot of the parade before we get the clear view of the properly-colored Cosmos.
• In an unused episode idea for season four ofTransformers Animated, Cosmos was to have a prominent role as a bearer of news. Unfortunately, after scanning a B-Movie flying saucer prop, he loses his memory in an accident. According to theAlmanac, 'Hilarity Ensues'.
  • There was an unsuccessful attempt to resurrect this episode idea with anotherCosmos as part of the originally planned version ofTransformers: Prime's third season.^[3]
  • This episode idea finally came through inTransformers: EarthSpark's episode "The Butterfly Effect", albeit his flying saucer mode was used as a carnival ride instead of a movie prop.
