WhenCobra stolePower Station Alpha, Ace and the other G.I. Joe pilots chased after it and attacked itsRattler escort. Although the battle went in the Joes' favor, the enemy got away by holding a nearby cruise ship hostage.Power Struggle

Not long afterwards, theDecepticons stole the power station, forcing Ace to join up with the airborne Cobra andAutobot forces for a preemptive attack on the Decepticon headquarters. He chose to stay out of the way ofSuperion andDevastator's duel, and eventually went home when Power Station Alpha was destroyed....All Fall Down!

G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers

Ace's squad took to the air when a peace summit inWashington, D.C. came under attack fromCobra fighter jets. The speed and maneuverability of the CobraRattlers took Ace by surprise, but that was nothing compared to the shock of seeing one of them suddenly turn into agiant robot. Transformers vs. G.I. Joe

Ace was part of a G.I. Joe strike force that stormed a Cobra hideout housing deadlyCreeper bombs, joining the fight aboard hisSkystriker whenCobra Commander attempted to flee in aRattler. The mission ran into some complications when the TransformersBumblebee andStarscream became involved. Nonetheless, Ace and fellow JoeWild Bill managed to deliver the payloads that destroyed Cobra Commander's plane, signaling a victory for the Joes.The Golden Boys Ace was deployed to defendT.H.E. P.I.T. whenOptimus Prime came bearing down from space, but was forced to bail out when Prime sliced his jet in half.Everybody Hates Metroplex
