TheXbox One is Microsoft's third console, and the successor to theXbox 360.

1, 360...One? Whatever, it's not like Microsoft could count Windows versions either. This led to many people calling theXbox "Original Xbox", or "Xbox Classic" to avoid confusion with the Xbox One.

The Xbox One's Dashboard is also used by the Xbox Series X/S, but with a dynamic theme feature.

Redesigns

2 months before the release of the Xbox Series consoles on September 2020, the Fluent dashboard received a redesign.Several smaller changes have been added to the redesign, such as a Search button on the top right added in 2022. Additionally, the OS was updated to be based on Windows 11 in 2021.

The dashboard would receive yet another redesign in 2023, adding shortcut buttons on top, making the game list smaller and adding 2 more spaces for games and apps.
