This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.

This page sucks.
If you could make it suck less, that would beawesome.
Specifically: 1. This article looks like it was written by a 9 year old. 2. Blocksworld is chock full of waaaaaaay more unused content, so adding those here, or in their own subpages would be great.
Hmmm...
To do:
*It seems that Blocksworld might be returning under a new company named "Fortell Games". Document unused content if/once the revival comes out.
  • A lot of BoldAi-era builds, early versions, never released music by Torley and more would work well for a prototype and development subpage.

Blocksworld is(though for the time being, was) a free to play sandbox game released in 2012. Originally developed byBoldAi and being namedCreative Builder, the game had been inspired byLEGO in the form of building your own creations.

Development was then tossed over toLinden Labs after they purchased their company and the game sometime in 2013.

The game had been doing pretty well in its infancy, so much in fact they obtained theHasbro license and made sets based off of their franchises.

The game had stopped receiving updates around 2017, and would later be discontinued June of 2020.

AlthoughBlocksworld (in retrospect) could be summed up as a janky, buggy, and possibly even incompetent mess of a game, it's a game many people remember fondly for it's charm, mechanics, and sets.

TCRF remembers it best for it's ENORMOUS amount of unused content.

Bugs

Unused Gears

Hidden deep inside the files are quite a few unused gears.

Blocksworld UnusedG.I.JoeGear.png

Three unused G.I. Joe weapons: a bazooka, a grenade, and a sniper rifle. All of these weapons do not function on their own (like other laser guns) and simply act as props.

Blocksworld UnusedMotorSpindleandPistonGear.png

A motor spindle (circular spinner) and a piston. Interestingly, the piston isn't functional yet has its own commands, meaning it was cut later in development. The motor spindle is functional and works like it is supposed to.

Blocksworld UnusediPadGear.png

An iPad prop.

Blocksworld UnusedTrainTrackGear.jpg

Two train tracks. Both blocks cannot be resized and have no collision.

Blocksworld UnusedBoldai2012HairdoGear.png

An early hairdo from the Boldai 2012 build.

Unused Textures

Quite a few unused textures can also be found inside the files.

Blocksworld UnusedDerpyHoovesTextures.png

Two textures supposedly for Derpy Hooves go unused, supposedly having been intended for theMy Little Pony set.

Blocksworld Unused2012BoldaiTextures.png

Two face textures from Boldai’s original 2012 incarnation ofBlocksworld still remain in the files.

Blocksworld UnusedDerpyMFTextures.png

One Derpy face with female and male variants also go unused. The male one matches the newer design for faces, while the female one looks more like the old design, however the icons for each of them both match the new design.

Normally Hidden Offsale Textures

They are used, but they can’t be bought on normal play. Textures for MuSiCaL (Hairspray reference), Drink Me, Got It?, and a $ Glyph are available, but not normally.

The four normally hidden offsale textures.

Version Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
Just about everything.

On September 25, 2017, a PC port of Blocksworld was released on Steam. And...it's held together by duct tape more than the original mobile game.
