Regional Differences
When Activision localized the game for North America and Europe, some changes were made.
General Differences
This page or section needs more images. There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this. |
- An Easy difficulty option was added to the localized versions.
- The options menu was made accessible from the title screen.
- The Load Game menu at the title screen for the Japanese version had some voiced narration added to the commands that was removed in the international versions.
- In the Japanese version, while opening the menu during gameplay, the background music continues, albeit a lower volume. In the international versions, the music pauses.
- The Japanese version has four different fonts for the text boxes.
- The Japanese version has subtitles for the cutscenes. The removal of the subtitles in the international versions caused the letterboxing to be evenly reframed.
