Thus, the engagement was not only about defeating the Entity, (WC:Day of Reckoning) which was sent back toits own dimension by the Strategist andMechanoid 2150 using theorbital defence grid as abeam projector, (WC:The Deadly Ally) as it also ensured theMechonoids believed the Daleks had been weakened, giving them a false sense of security so they could be overwhelmed in the followingMechanoid-Dalek battle onSkaro.
