Each episode comprises a classicDoctor Who story edited into oneomnibus-style episode, bookended by new scenes featuring members of the original cast in"a remembered TARDIS". The Night Walkers concluded the tale of theSecond Doctorliving in Time Lord-enforced exile in London for a few months prior tobecoming the Third Doctor. Much of the story stressed how he had actually become a celebrity and was appearing on atelevision game show when the Time Lords finally caught up with him to impose the final punishment mentioned — but never quite seen — inhis last televised story.
Doctor Who and the Mines of Terror was a1985 platform video game released for theBBC Micro and other gaming computers. The game featured theSixth Doctor, travelling with a robotic cat companion namedSplinx, attempting to stopthe Tremas Master from disrupting theuniverse.
