Tales of the TARDIS is the first new spin-off to join theWhoniverse onBBC iPlayer. Each episode comprises a classicDoctor Who story edited into oneomnibus-style episode, bookended by new scenes featuring members of the original cast in"a remembered TARDIS". It's a great place to start dipping your toes intoDoctor Who's older stories, or to revisit old favourites!

Several of the stories in these ranges received awards. Guest appearances includedthe Reborn Master,the Monk andRiver Song.
The Incomplete Death's Head was a 12-part comic mini-series which reprinted 18 stories featuring theMarvel Comics characterDeath's Head. The comic is extremely unique for featuringDoctor Who universe concepts such as theSeventh Doctor andHob alongside explicitMarvel cameos, with flashbacks including such characters asShe-Hulk and theFantastic Four. This was one of the most explicit examples of the Doctor himself being presented as existing inside theMarvel Universe, aka Earth-616.
The First Adventure was a video game released in late1983 for theBBC Micro. The title was, fittingly, the first officially licensedDoctor Who video game. Months earlier, an unlicensed game titledDoctor Who Adventure had appeared inComputer & Video Games, a gaming zine.The First Adventure featured the Doctor traveling through several areas to savehis companion, with most levels being based on other popular games of the time.
