Why don’t you disable screen capture?

- Updated
Applies to:
Screen capture is disabled by default on the Android platform, however Apple does not allow developers to disable screen capture on their iOS mobile devices. Our desktop platform does not currently have any screen capture preventative measures in place.
To enable screen capture in Android, you will find the option in Settings. The "Enable Screenshots" option will allow screenshots to be taken in Wickr on the Android device while toggled "On."
Please note thatdisabling (toggling "Off") this option will NOT affect your Contacts' ability to screenshot your shared conversation: this feature uses Android's built-in mechanism to disable screenshots on the OS level of your own device.
Please remember that Wickr provides an encrypted communication channel for you to communicate with people you trust.
