Email and phone number
Since your email address can only be associated with a single TikTok account, you can't use the same email address to create additional or multiple accounts. If you want tomake a new account, use a different email address orchange the email address associated with your existing account.
Keep in mind:
• You canreset your password if you're having trouble logging into your TikTok account.
• If youdelete your TikTok account that is currently associated with your email address, it will be deactivated for 30 days and then erased permanently. After 30 days, you can connect that email to a new account.
To find the email address associated with your TikTok account:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap theMenu☰ button at the top, then selectSettings and privacy.
3. TapAccount, then selectUser Information.
4. Tap Email.
You can add or change your email at any time from your account settings, and remove it when you've provided an alternative method of logging into your account.
We recommend that you always add a mobile phone number to your account to help you gain access to your account in case you ever lose access to your email. Adding your phone number to your account may also allow you to strengthen your account security with2-step verification and improve and personalize your ad experience.

To add an email address to your account:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile atthe bottom.
2. Tap theMenu ☰ button at the top, then selectSettings and privacy.
3. TapAccount, then selectUser Information.
4. TapEmail, enter your email address, then tapSend code to verify your identity.
5. Enter the verification code sent to your email.
To change the email address associated with your TikTok account:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profileat the bottom.
2. Tap theMenu ☰ button at the top, then selectSettings and privacy.
3. TapAccount, then selectUser Information.
4. TapEmail, then tapChange email.
5. Enter the new email address on the next screen, then tapSend code and enter the verification code sent to your updated email.
Note: Since we send verification codes to your email, both the old and the new email address associated with the account must be active and verified.
To remove the email address associated with your account:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap theMenu ☰ button at the top, then selectSettings and privacy.
3. TapAccount, then selectUser Information.
4. TapEmail.
5. SelectUnlink email, then tapUnlink.
