What are LIVE Events on TikTok?
LIVE Events allow creators to let their audience know when they'll be going LIVE in advance so viewers can register and receive notifications about the event.
How to create a LIVE Event
1. In the TikTok app, tap theAdd post+button at the bottom.
2. TapLIVEat the bottom. You may need to scroll across.
3. TapLIVE Center.
4. TapLIVE Events.
5. TapCreate an event, then follow the steps to create an event. Keep in mind that the time you choose for an event will be shown in the viewer's local time.
You can also create a LIVE event fromTikTok Studio by tappingLIVE, thenLIVE Events.
How to register for a LIVE Event
1. In the TikTok app, go to the creator's profile.
2. TapLIVE Event. If there's more than one event, select the event you want to register for.
3. TapRegister.
4. TapAdd to device calendar orDone.
You can also add a LIVE Event to your calendar from theEvent details screen by tapping theSharebutton at the top, thenAdd to calendar at the bottom. Keep in mind that we may ask you to grant access to your device's calendar.
How to cancel your LIVE Event registration
1. In the TikTok app, go to the creator's profile.
2. TapLIVE Event. If there's more than one event, select the event you want to cancel your registration for.
3. TapRegistered. You can also tap theShare button at the top, then tapUnregister at the bottom.
How to share a LIVE Event
1. In the TikTok app, go to the creator's profile.
2. TapLIVE Event. If there's more than one event, select the event you want to share.
3. Tap theSharebutton at the top, then follow the steps to share the event.
