Create a PivotChart

Sometimes it's hard to see the big picture when your raw data hasn’t been summarized. Your first instinct may be tocreate a PivotTable, but not everyone can look at numbers in a table and quickly see what's going on. PivotCharts are a great way to add data visualizations to your data.
Create a PivotChart
Select a cell in your table.
Select Insertand choose
Select where you want the PivotChart to appear.
Select OK.
Select the fields to display in the menu.

Create a chart from a PivotTable
Select a cell in your table.
SelectInsertand choose PivotChart.
Select a chart.
Select OK.
To create a PivotChart on the Mac, you need to create a PivotTable first, and then insert a chart. Once that is done, the chart will behave like a PivotChart if you change the fields in the PivotTable Fields list.
Create a PivotTable if you don't have one already.
Select any cell within the PivotTable.
On theInserttab, click a button to insert either a column, line, pie, or radar chart. Please note that other types of charts do not work with PivotTables at this time. For example, treemap charts, statistical charts, and combo charts do not work with PivotTables yet.
After you insert a column, line, pie, or radar chart, you can pivot it by changing or moving fields using thePivotTable Fields list.
You can alsofilter data in a PivotTable, and useslicers. When you do that, the chart will also be filtered.
To create a PivotChart in Excel for the web, you will first need to create a PivotTable. To do that, see Create a PivotTable to analyze worksheet data.
Select a cell in your PivotTable.
On theInserttab, select theInsert Chartdropdown menu, and then click any chart option.
The chart will now appear in the worksheet. When you click anywhere in the chart, theChart tab appears in the ribbon. You can use any of the options in theChart tab to modify the chart.
