A Rodian bounty hunter, Greedo is a luckless, if persistent hired gun. He tracks fleeing smuggler Han Solo down in a Mos Eisley cantina during the same period Solo makes arrangements with Obi-Wan Kenobi and young Luke Skywalker for passage to Alderaan aboard theMillennium Falcon. Gloating over his cornered adversary's imminent demise, Greedo is uncharacteristically careless, enabling Solo to turn the tables with a well-aimed laser blast.
