WookieeProject:The Clone Wars

In2023, it wasdecided to incorporate the2021 sequel series toThe Clone Wars,Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and the2022Tales seasonStar Wars: Tales of the Jedi into this project. This decision was made because of the shared animation style and how these shows incorporate many topics also featured inThe Clone Wars. Therefore, keeping these topics under one banner will prevent Wookieepedians from dividing their focus across multiple projects. FurtherTales content, such as the2024Tales seasonStar Wars: Tales of the Empire, also fall under this project banner.

Please note that while the target audience of animatedStar Wars content can be a somewhat younger audience, this is by no means a hindrance to our goal. We still expect the same amount of quality that would be expected of any otherStar Wars articles, which includes acceptable spelling and grammar.

If you are considering joining the project, take a look at our mission. If you would like to join, please add your name with three tildes (~~~) at the bottom of the page under the "Participants" section.

Instructions[]

Writing[]

1. Use (at least) acceptable English grammar and spelling.
2. Write from a balanced and fair perspective with aneutral point-of-view.
3. Follow theManual of Style,Layout Guide, and all otherpolicies on Wookieepedia.
4. Do not addspeculation of any kind, whether it is unconfirmed info or trivial information. If it is not stated by aLucasfilm-affiliated (or official) source, it is notcanon and will not be accepted on Wookieepedia.
5. All information in an article must besourced.
6. "Behind the scenes" section should include notes on appearances. If the subject appears in multiple parts of a series (such as many episodes of a season), the series itself can be mentioned, along with a general summary.
7. Don't forget a "Personality and traits" section for characters where applicable, as well as a "Powers and abilities" section, also where applicable.
8. Adhere to the established TCW timeline, most recently updated inStar Wars: The Clone Wars: Episode Guide (June2013). Please seethis page for the timeline.

Editing[]

1. Check for flawless spelling and grammar, as well as cohesive sentence flow and context.
2. Make sure articles follow the Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and all other Wookieepedia policies.
3. Make sure all information and included pictures and quotes are properly sourced.
4. Fix templates and check for excessive/incorrect links.
5. Check for any appearances or sources that may have been missed.

Articles that cannot reach the required length can be put up for nomination for Comprehensive status. Even the most minor characters and articles have the potential to be upgraded to higher article status.

Choosing an article[]

Many characters appear inThe Clone Wars series and related material—some old, some new. Please note that while the project aims to cover many subjects appearing in the series, we cannot cover every single person, place, or thing that appears. Furthermore, it is improper to try to usethis project to focus on subjects that extensively appear elsewhere. For all articles that appear inThe Clone Wars series, their related and corresponding sections should be maintained.

In choosing articles to add as projects, the following questions should be asked about the article.For an article to be added as a planned/future project, the answers to at least one of these questions must be "yes."

1. Does the subject appear for thefirst time inThe Clone Wars material? If not,
2. Are themajority of the subject's appearances inThe Clone Wars material? If not,
3. Do(es) the subject's appearance(s) inThe Clone Wars material have animportant impact?

If you have questions, do not hesitate to bring the article up on theproject's talk page.
