The volcanic mountains of Mustafar
Avolcano was amountain from whichlava flowed out. It also produced large quantities of black smoke that could block out thesunlight.[1] Volcanoes that erupted regularly were called active, while those temporarily devoid of external activity were referred to as dormant.[2] Theplanet ofMustafar was covered in active volcanoes,[3] while those ofKadavo were dormant for the most part.[2] Sometimes, the lava of a volcano would cool rapidly, formingblack volcanicglass[4] or black sand.[5]
