Vlix Oncard was created for the animated seriesStar Wars: Droids, and first appeared in the episode "The White Witch,"^[1] written byPeter Sauder and first broadcast onSeptember 7,1985.^[2] The character was voiced byJohn Stocker.^[3]

Vlix is probably the rarest action figure ever commercially released. He was only released by the Brazilian distributor ofKenner toys,Glasslite. An article inPolyhedron magazine byRich Handley andAbel G. Peña, about theDroids cartoons, revealed the character's last name. The name "Oncard" is an in-joke reference to the fact that the figure is rarest when found "on card."
