Ahumanpilot served in theResistancefleet during theirwar against theFirst Order.^[2] In theyear34 ABY,^[1] during theBattle of Oetchi hepiloted aU-55 orbital loadlifter, and, after witnessing the destruction of two other transports at the hands of theSupreme Leader'sStar DreadnoughtSupremacy askedVice AdmiralAmilyn Holdo whether to turn back or press forward. As Holdo desperately told him to push full-speed ahead to theplanetCrait, thepilot and his transport were hit and destroyed.^[2]

The pilot first appeared in ahologram in the 2017 filmStar Wars: Episode VIIIThe Last Jedi and was portrayed by an uncredited actor.^[2]
