Temuera Morrison playedJango Fett and allclone troopers inStar Wars: Episode IIAttack of the Clones. Morrison was the model for the CGI clone troopers inStar Wars: Episode IIIRevenge of the Sith and acted and voice-acted asClone CommandersCody,Davijaan "Odd Ball,"Gree,Thire, andAppo, as well asClone CaptainJag andSergeantFox. He also lent his voice to the character ofBoba Fett for the2004 DVD release of theoriginal trilogy (replacingJason Wingreen), and has voiced the Fetts and the clone troopers in many video games. He made his live-action debut as Boba Fett in "Chapter 9: The Marshal," asecond season episode ofThe Mandalorian.[2]
After Morrison's appearance inAttack of the Clones, artists used his likeness to depict Boba Fett andclone troopers without masks.Chapter 21 ofStar Wars: Clone Wars was one of the first stories to do this.Infinities andStar Wars Tales stories have also depicted the unmasked Boba Fett bearing a strong resemblance to Morrison.
In2005, prior to the release ofRevenge of the Sith, Morrison released a special episode of his New Zealand talk show,The Tem Show, to commemorate his time in theStar Wars franchise, while also advertising the then-upcoming release ofRevenge of the Sith. In the episode, Morrison interviewed fellow New Zealand actorsJay Laga'aia,Bodie Taylor andRena Owen, as well asGeorge Lucas (who was affectionately referred to as "Uncle George"),Glen Kiser,Paul Giacoppo,Peter Daulton andRick McCallum.[3]
