Tea was a kind of non-alcoholic beverage[1] that was notably consumed by thepeople ofAlderaan[5] andthose ofMandalore.[6] There existed many types of tea. One was made from the florets of theCassius tree.[7] Another, known asTarine tea, was served onplanets as diverse asLothal[8] andChristophsis.[3]Gatalenta was a planet famous forits tea.[9] One tea was theDeychin tea.[10] While some varieties of tea were consumed hot,[5] others were served cold, such asMoogan Tea[2] or its corporate-branded version,Ardees Beverage, which came in bottles[6] or as a fizzy canned tea.[11]Teahouses were establishments dedicated to the serving of tea.[9] Sky Graf had fifty-seven percent oxidized greenOrsh Mountain tea onboard theBrightbird which he served toRooper Nitani onBatuu.[12]

At some point during theClone Wars,smugglers led by aMoogan namedTee Va came toSundari, thecapitalcity of Mandalore, where they distributed Ardees beverage tea diluted withslabin, a hazardous chemical. As a result, Tee Va's profits were doubled, but many Sundarischoolchildren became ill. However, due to to an investigation run by theDuchess of Mandalore,Satine Kryze, and theGalactic RepublicSenatorPadmé Amidala, Tee Va and his smugglers were arrested.[6]
