Continuity[]
Tatooine Manhunt was reprinted in the supplementClassic Adventures: Volume Three in1996 alongsideRiders of the Maelstrom andDeath in the Undercity. The statistics for the non-player characters featured in the adventure were updated to align with the Second Edition rules forStar Wars: The Roleplaying Game.
The publisher's summary on the back ofTatooine Manhunt refers toAdar Tallon as "Talon." ATalon was previously mentioned as a contemporary ofObi-Wan Kenobi andAnakin Skywalker in the Old Senatorial template first published infirst edition rulebook forStar Wars: The Roleplaying Game.
Reference toBalamak and an indirect reference to theBattle of Balamak were only mentioned in the publisher's summary ofTatooine Manhunt. The entire summary was not reprinted inClassic Adventures: Volume Three.
In the original printing ofTatooine Manhunt, players were given the option to run space battles according to theStar Warriors: Starfighter Combat in the Star Wars Universe rules. These were removed in the reprint published inClassic Adventures: Volume Three.
Several changes to the text were made for the reprint. The unnamedDim-U street preacher encountered inMos Eisley was given the nameHen. Part of his dialogue was rewritten, removing reference to theAge of Bounty.AgentDana's data entry was also rewritten, givingCaptainParlan the first name "Ranif." Specific mention of two "dog-like"aliens resembling a "beagle" and a "great dane" was replaced with refering to them as "canine-like."
TheAlabak's Gold was identified as a "modified Calamari jump freighter." The reprint inClassic Adventures: Volume Three established the class to beWander-class jump freighter.

Cover gallery[]
The cover illustration of this book was originally a piece of conceptual art created byRalph McQuarrie forStar Wars: Episode VThe Empire Strikes Back. The piece is titled "Scourge of the Galaxy," and depicted the bounty huntersBoba Fett,IG-88,4-LOM,Zuckuss andBossk onCloud City,Bespin.[5]
The book features five bounty hunter characters which are visually similar to the ones depicted inThe Empire Strikes Back, based on the cover image. From right to left:
- The smallGand who looks like Zuckuss is Vytor Shrike.
- TheIG-series droid is IG-72, rather than one of theIG-88 assassin droids. (In fact, at this point, only one IG-88 was known.)
- The man inMandalorian armor was Jodo Kast, who has impersonated Boba Fett in the past.
- TheTrandoshan standing in for Bossk isJungen.
- Theprotocol droid4-LOM does not have any clear analogue in the story. However, otherHuman characters such as Zardra and Quist cover what could have been its role.
Although the cover suggests that all of these bounty hunters are allied (they are posing together, as if threatening a common target), most of them are foes to each other: Jodo Kast is not allied with any of the others, nor is IG-72; and Jungen and Shrike oppose both IG-72 and Kast.File:Tatooinemanhunt.jpg|CoverFile:BountyHunters_CloudCity.jpg|Cover art</gallery>
