Continuity[]
- The locations of theplanets fromRevenge of the Sith andStar Wars: Clone Wars were finalized in the book.
- The book references the short stories "Slippery Slope" and "First Impressions" fromStar Wars Tales Volume 4 and "A Jedi's Weapon" fromStar Wars Tales Volume 3 thus making them canon.
- In the "Ascension of the Dark Lords" section on page 27, there are multiple inconsistencies withStar Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords:
- It displays a portrait of MasterAtris but says it isBrianna.
- It says thatDarth Sion is the apprentice toDarth Nihilus, while in the game, both Sion and Nihilus were apprentices ofDarth Traya.
- It says thatVisas Marr is aJedi. She was, for a time, aSith apprentice, though she was redeemed by theJedi Exile afterward. She is the apprentice to Nihilus, not Sion. The same mistake is done in theStar Wars Miniatures setChampions of the Force, when her name appears to be plainly aJedi Sentinel.
- It tries to explain that the picture ofMira fighting aSith assassin is occurring at theSith academy onKorriban, even though the picture is clearly of Mira fighting a Sith Assassin onNar Shaddaa (although Sith Assassins never appear on Nar Shaddaa in-game).
- TheJedi Council memberAdi Gallia is described as beinghuman when she is, in fact aTholothian.
- TheEmperor's Royal Guard are discribed as "Red Guards."
