TheSluis sector (pronounced /'slu.i/), also known as theSluissi sector, was in theOuter Rim Territories.Planets in thesector includedAgora,Bpfassh,Dagobah,Denab,Kerest,Orto,Praesitlyn andSluis Van. The sector was scouted byKeog Boorn. The Sluis sector bordered theSeswenna sector.
History[]

The Sluis sector was represented byBor Gracus and later byCorlissi Ludar in theGalactic Senate, and byZilar in theNew Republic Senate. The leader of the sector was titled aKhedive.
The sector withdrew from theRepublic to join theConfederacy of Independent Systems before theClone Wars. Itssenator at that time was Corlissi Ludar.[5]
During theClone Wars a group ofBpfasshiDark Jedi led a rampage of terror and destruction throughout the sector, primarily centered around theBpfassh system. They were stopped by aJedi task force led byYoda.
During hiscampaign,Grand AdmiralThrawn launchedhit-and-fade attacks on a trio ofsystems in Sluis sector,including the Bpfassh system.[7]Han Solo believed the names of the other two systems were "unpronounceable."[8]

The PC gameStar Wars: Rebellion incorrectly placesSullust,Bothawui,Kothlis,Umgul, andDac in the Sluis sector. Sullust is in theSullustan sector; Bothawui and Kothlis are in theBothan sector; Umgul is in theMid Rim; Mon Calamari is in theCalamari sector. Additionally, the game mistakenly places the sector in theCore Worlds.
In the novelJedi Trial, the Sluis sector is incorrectly portrayed as being allied with theGalactic Republic instead of with the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
The name was first pronounced inTimeline 6: Onslaught of the Sith Empire.
