In229 BBY,[2]Jedi MasterKelnacca of theJedi Order and hisPadawan,Yarzion Vell,fought members of theNihilpirates on[1] theLol sector[3] astronomical objectVianax in the Nihil-controlledOcclusion Zone as part of the Order'sconflict with the marauders. At one point during the skirmish, Vell used hislightsaber todeflectblaster shots from the Nihil while Kelnaccaleapt over several of the pirates and attacked one upon landing. The Nihil suffered at least two casualties during the fighting.[1]

Following the battle, multiplechildren, including ahuman and anElomin, watched as Kelnacca and Vell helped clear debris and make repairs.[1] Around149 BBY,[4] when Vell wasdying, he told his own Padawan,Ordea, about histraining under Kelnacca and mentioned the skirmish while telling them about Kelnacca's bravery and powerfulness.[1]

The skirmish on Vianax appeared in a flashback in the one-shotcomicThe Acolyte - Kelnacca 1, written byCavan Scott, illustrated byMarika Cresta, and published byMarvel Comics[1] onSeptember 4,2024.[5] Before the comic's release, it was first pictured in a video uploaded to the officialStar WarsYouTube onJuly 25 of that year.[6]
