Biography[]

TheIshi Tibaccountant Shasa Tiel was anative of the[1]Mid Rim[2]planet[3]Tibrin.[1] Tiel did accounting work for theSoroSuub Corporation on the planetSullust,[4] before leaving the company. She was blackmailed into working for the[5]Huttcrime lord[6]Jabba Desilijic Tiure,[5] serving under the[1]Nimbanel accountant[7]Mosep Binneed[1] as his[7] assistant.[5] Tiel also operated as a financial advisor to Jabba,[1] though she hated hertime working for the Hutt.[4]

Tiel was present inJabba's Palace, asleep onJabba's dais, whenLeia Organa disguised asBoushh, attempted to freeHan Solo from carbonite. She later witnessedLuke Skywalker's encounter with therancor and was aboard theKhetanna when theBattle of the Great Pit of Carkoon broke out.[8] Tiel rejoiced that Jabba never returned from the expedition, which ended with theHutt'sdeath and theKhetanna's destruction.[4]

Personality and traits[]

Tiel loathed Jabba[1] and hated her job.[5] She desperately[1] sought out a means of escape[5] and rejoiced that Jabba never returned from the Great Pit of Carkoon.[4] Thefemale Ishi Tib hadgreen skin, orangeeyes,[1] and was considered to be rather ugly.[9]
