After all, Leia Organa is unbreakable: the youngest, toughest member of the Galactic Senate, and after its dissolution, the fiercest opponent of the Empire. She's survived kidnapping and torture under Darth Vader, but she's never had to do anything more difficult than her latest mission. She is going home.
And X-7 knows it will be the perfect opportunity to destroy her.
Plot summary[]
PrincessLeia makes a difficult journey toDelaya, sisterworld ofAlderaan and home to manyAlderaanians who were offplanet when Alderaan was destroyed and now find themselvesrefugees without a homeworld. She is shocked to discover the appalling overcrowded conditions faced by the refugees, as well as the outward hostility some of them show her. Onewoman,Halle Dray, feels theOrgana house invitedImperial reprisal upon their world due to its involvement with theRebel Alliance. Working with theDelayan government, Dray arranges for Leia's capture and handover to the Empire.Luke,Han, and a friend of the Organa family, Fess Ilee, work together to rescue her. Fess is in realityFerus Olin, aJedi who has watched over Leia since her infancy.X-7, still posing as Tobin Elad, frees Leia, but surreptitiously doses her withtruth serum that allows him to confirm the identity of the Rebel who destroyed theDeath Star: Luke Skwalker.

At one point in this story,Han recalledObi-Wan's quote regardingAlderaan's destruction, though he was not present to hear it said inStar Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. This story remarked the reappearance ofFerus Olin, featured hero of theLast of the Jedi series.[2]
