Publisher's summary[]
The Rebel Alliance was limited in its fight against the Empire by resources and manpower. Realizing they could not face their enemy as equals in a starship battle, the Rebel leaders resorted to guerrilla tactics, launching blitzkrieg attacks with their numerous fighter squadrons. As a result, they were constantly looking for new pilots to take command of these ships, regardless of their training or background: from academically trained military personnel to rallied smugglers, all types of pilots had a place in the Rebellion, as long as they shared the same goal: fighting for freedom and justice in the galaxy.[1]
