Biography[]
The elder leader of a village ofMing Po onCarlac,[2] a planet in theOuter Rim Territories,[3] Chieftain Pieter had a granddaughter namedTryla.[2]
In20 BBY[4] Pieter's village was taken hostage by theDeath Watch, which had set up a newcamp onCarlac. They subjugated the populace and kidnapped the women as servants.[2] Pieter hated the intrudingDeath Watch and their bullying ways.[1]
Having exhausted his patience,[1] Pieter confronted[2] bravely[1]Pre Vizsla to leave and return his people, and while Vizsla pretended to agree,[2] it was all a cruel ploy to teach him a painful lesson.[1] He returned to burn theMing Po town,[2] leaving Pieter to watch in shock as the marauders destroyed his village and killed many of his people.[3] Vizsla then tried to kill Pieter with hisDarksaber, but instead killed his granddaughter,Tryla, when she sacrificed herself[2] to save the town leader.[3]
