Description[]

The Numesira sector contained the Olkrastrus and Charros systems (pictured on a map).
The Numesira sector was located in an intersecting portion of theMid Rim Territories[1] andthe Slice regions.[2] It included theOlkrastrus andCharros systems at the coordinates Q-9 and R-9 on theStandard Galactic Grid respectively.[1] Thestar systems wereorbited respectively by theplanets[3][4]Olkrastrus IV[3] andCharros IV.[4] The Charros system was at the a junction between[5] theGreat Kashyyyk Branch[6] and anotherhyperspace route.[5]
History[]
During theGalactic Civil War between theGalactic Empire and theRebel Alliance, the former ImperialgovernorEveri Chalis was present in the Numesira sector fivedays after fleeing the planetSullust during theSiege of Inyusu Tor[7] in3 ABY.[8] While in thesector, Chalis reflected on the events that took place during the siege and considered her options for the future.[7]
Locations[]
- "Holdouts. We were told there were Separatist holdouts, as if it were only a battalion or two. The administration stopped sharing the clone casualty numbers, which should have been a tipoff, but—I didn't realize."
"Nor did I. It does explain a few things, though." - ―Bail Organa and Haki Zeophrine[3]
During thetime of theGalactic Republic, theXi Char Cathedral factories at Charros IV[9] produced the automatedVulture-class starfighter for theTrade Federation corporation and eventually theSeparatist Alliance, which used them during theClone Wars against the Republic.[10] During the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance took control of Charros IV, as part of aMid Rim advancement[4] from around1 ABY. After the advancement collapsed around2 ABY,[11] the rebels chose to abandon the world.[4]

Bail Organa visited Olkrastrus IV to speak with Bana Rhuus.
Olkrastrus IV was a terrestrial planet with aSpiral Forest and canyons. It was governed by the Separatists during the Clone Wars and sawconflict around that. When the Republic won the war andbecame the Empire[3] in19 BBY,[11] the local civilian leadership ceded power to the Empire whilst the Separatist military there retreated into the wilderness and keptfighting against Imperial control asholdouts.Bana Rhuus, asector chief forSeparatist Intelligence, hid away with a holdout group, having a body double turn himself in to the Empire.[3] Around thatyear,[12]SenatorBail Organa and theImperial IntelligenceagentHaki Zeophrine went to the planet to question Rhuus for aninvestigation of theirs. After identifying the fake Rhuus, they were able to located the real one and gather a further lead for Organa. Zeophrine secretlykilled Rhuus before the pair departed Olkrastrus IV.[3]
Inhabitants[]
- "They're frightened. These people have lived through horrors, and all they want is an end to the conflict."
"This part of the city is sympathetic to the Separatists. The family is … exceptional, in a number of ways." - ―Organa and Zeophrine[3]
Charros IV hosted theXi Char,[9] areligious cult[13] that founded[9] the fanaticalHaor Chall Engineering Corporation[13] and operated the Xi Char cathedral factories.[9] In thesefactories, vulture droids were notably produced by members of[10] thesentientinsectoidXi Charrianspecies.[14] Olkrastrus IV was inhabited by a population, many of which were Separatist aligned. The local Separatist forces there continued to resist the emergent Empire, prompting a large presence ofImperial Military assets likeclone troopers.[3]
